• Selecting the Right Size Round Terminal
• The following points should be considered when selecting a round terminal suitable for your application.

• Method of crimping round terminal
• First, select the correct size round terminal. Remove the end of the wire and cut it so that it is the same length as the terminal. Insert the wire into the terminal barrel so that the bare wire is not visible. You are now ready to crimp the crimp terminal to the end of the cable using the appropriate crimp tool. These include heavy duty ratcheting and hydraulic crimping tools. The handle of the ratchet tool remains locked until the crimp cycle is complete, preventing premature crimping. Simply insert the barrel of the round terminal into the appropriate crimp. Squeeze the tool handle until it is released by the ratchet mechanism. When a heavy-duty hydraulic crimping tool is used, the crimping cycle is completed with a click sound when the crimping force is fully applied. The round crimp terminal can now be placed on the stud or post and secured in place by nuts or soldering.
