• This RJ.5 cable assembly from TE Connectivity has an RJ.5 plug and an RJ45 socket, making it ideal for connecting between two systems.　The RJ.5 connector system provides a high-density Ethernet link suitable for reducing cost per port while maintaining the convenience of one connector per channel.　The center spacing between the ports is 7 mm and occupies half the space of a conventional RJ45 Ethernet link.　The receptacle and cable assemblies have been redesigned to eliminate undesirable RJ45 split-pair configurations. As a result, electrical performance has been improved.　In addition, the integrated latch and easy-to-use lanyard make it easy to achieve up to 96 ports on a single line card.　The density of the receptacle surface also allows the light from the port indicator light LED to be seen through the cable boot.
