• Screw Cap Membrane Caps can be used on GL-45 Screw Cap DURAN (R) bottles. The hole drilled in the center of the cap has a PTFE membrane with a pore size of 0.2 μm, so that only gas is permeable without passing through liquid or dust. This reduces the risk of gas generating reagents during storage and transportation. In addition, the cap can be tightened firmly during autoclaving, and there is no need to loosen the cap beforehand or re-tighten it after autoclaving. Supports rapid depressurization and pressurization up to 100 hPa. Heat-resistant temperature is 140°C and can be used repeatedly as long as there is no damage such as scratches.
