• The micro: bit has 3 basic I/O connectors, but the 20 pin edge connector allows for extended functionality. By connecting the micro: bit breakout to the micro: bit, you can access all 21 GPIO terminals as well as the power and ground terminals. The pin header is soldered in advance, so it can be d as it is on a breadboard.
