• This board converts from an OBD-II equipped with ScanTool.net STN1110 to a UART. By using this board, you can interface with the OBD-II bus installed in the automobile. OBD-II is a communication/connector standard for vehicle diagnostics that has been required to be installed in vehicles sold in the United States since 1996, and is now required to be installed in vehicles worldwide.
• The board provides a serial interface using the ELM327 command set and supports major OBD-II bus standards such as CAN and JBUS. The ELM327 is an OBD-II communication device from ELM Electronics of Canada, and its command set has become a de facto industry standard. STN1110 is fully compatible with the ELM327 command set. The board also has an FTDI Basic or Bluetooth Mate compatible footprint.
